Corona Virus: An answer to our prayers?

In a recent post on LinkedIn, Josh Bersin wrote a wonderful article reflecting on the impact the corona virus is having on people all around the world.

Flights cancelled. Conferences cancelled. People staying home with their families. Mass numbers now using technology to work remotely from home.

He reflects on the insane pace of modern life. The many left behind by the focus on fast exponential growth. How people have been longing to get out of the rat race. How millions have been worrying about climate change and asking, how in God’s name can we stem the million-fire-hose flow of carbon gas being released 24/7 into the atmosphere, turning our planet from a pristine playground into a dangerous pressure cooker?

Help! We need help!

Perhaps all the climate protests, all the intense fear we’ve been generating en masse — maybe this corona virus is divine intervention.

Ask and it is given, was the promise. The way synchronicity works. We’ve been asking, in a big mass way.

The mere idea of a virus has gone viral — changing human behavior is a mass way.

Can it be true? The corona virus is the blessing in disguise we’ve been praying for?
